How Much Snow to Expect Today

There are currently no major winter storms. However, there will still besnowfall both in the Midwest and Middle Atlantic that could create slick roadsand slow travel today.A weak system pressing through the Midwest will blanket a swath from Wisconsinto western New York with a couple of inches of snow through tonight.

Farther south, a storm system moving northward along the Southeast coast willbring another round of wintry weather to the Middle Atlantic. Light snow willfall over northern and western Virginia through New Jersey tonight,accumulating a coating to an inch. Several inches of fresh snow can be expectedin the mountains of western Virginia. Meanwhile, an icy mix will make roadstreacherous for a time from western North Carolina to southern Virginia.
