How much does the Twin Cities love the Olympics?

New numbers show Minnesotans are among the country's biggest Olympics fans.

It's never a surprise when Twin Cities residents rank among the top viewers of the Winter Olympics. After all, a lot of the participants are neighbors. But new numbers from Gannett show Minnesotans also dig the Summer Games.

According to the company, KARE, which is owns, is the second-rated NBC affiliate for the Games among adults 25-54.

Only KUSA in Denver had higher ratings with a 51 share in prime time.

WXIA in Atlanta is third.
