June 2004: Drafted goalie Pekka Rinne in the eighth round.

June 2009: Drafted defensemen Ryan Ellis (first round) and Mattias Ekholm (fourth round).

April 2013: Acquired LW Filip Forsberg in a trade with Washington for forwards Martin Erat and Michael Latta.

May 2014: Hired Peter Laviolette to replace Barry Trotz as head coach.
