Former Republican governors seem to like Independence Party's Tom Horner.
The third party candidate for governor Thursday announced former Gov. Al Quie was supporting his bid. Horner already had the support of former Gov. Arne Carlson.
"As I look at the candidates for governor, I look at their solutions and I come down on the side of Tom Horner," Quie said at a Capitol press conference, according to the Horner campaign.
Republican Tom Emmer has current Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty's support. Former Governors Wendell Anderson and Jesse Ventura have not public displayed their affections for any of the candidates.
