Homeplan: Build a storybook cottage

This plan is ideal for a vacation home with a large wraparound covered porch for views and outdoor living space. The open kitchen, dining and living rooms flow from one to the next and feature a stone fireplace.

The main-floor master suite is appointed with a walk-in closet and double-vanity bathroom. The second floor houses two bedrooms (one is a loft) and a bathroom. Although the current design allows for a drive-under garage, this plan could easily be converted to a slab or full basement home and have either a detached garage or a garage attached by a breezeway.
