More is not always better

The popular small yellow characters from the "Despicable Me" movies get their own full-length feature in "Minions" (PG, Universal). And to the adage "A little bit goes a long way" could be added, "More is not always better." The film contains slapstick violence and mild rude humor. Extras include a deleted scene, "Jingle Bells Minion Style." Blu-ray adds three new original mini-movies: "Cro Minion," "Competition" and "Binky Nelson Unpacified." Among the other extras, "Behind the Goggles — The Illumination Story of the Minions" looks at the history and evolution of the yellow henchmen, and "Illumination Macguff Animation" explores the challenges of bringing the Minions alive through animation in the movie.
