'Snowden' gets lost in red tape

Director Oliver Stone has never been afraid to let his feelings guide his stories. That's why his latest work, "Snowden," comes up so short. It's not that Stone doesn't have definitive views on Edward Snowden, who leaked classified information that revealed that the United States was keeping an eye on average citizens. It's that unlike other major topics Stone has taken on, this one has far more gray areas. Despite a strong performance by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the film ends up convoluted and confusing.
