Holidazzle proposal joins state Rep., city lobbyist

It was a Twin Cities love story on Nicollet Ave. last month when St. Paul state Rep. John Lesch popped the question to Minneapolis lobbyist Melissa Reed during the Holidazzle Parade.

It was a Twin Cities love story on Nicollet Mall last month when St. Paul state Rep. John Lesch popped the question to Minneapolis lobbyist Melissa Reed during the Holidazzle Parade.

Now it's a movie.

The proposal, which included cameos from a Holidazzle Santa Claus and mayors R.T. Rybak and Chris Coleman, was posted to YouTube this weekend. Several council members are peppered in the crowd.
