Hockey Day Minnesota ‘USA vs. the World’ alumni game will stream live on Star Tribune

Strib Varsity and the Minnesota Star Tribune are livestreaming tons of action from Hockey Day Minnesota in Hastings, and the “USA vs. the World” alumni game on Wednesday, Jan. 21, is one to watch.

Star Tribune subscribers can watch the game at 6 p.m. on Jan. 21 here. The video player will appear below a few days before the game.

The game will feature former Twins star and Baseball Hall of Famer Joe Mauer, as well as a slew of former Wild players: Zach Parise, Jeff Taffe, Wes Walz, Devan Dubnyk, Nate Prosser, Mark Parrish, Ryan Carter, Mike Lundin, Jordan Schroeder and Erik Westrum.

Parise will captain Team USA, and Walz will captain Team World.

The game includes several past Star Tribune Metro Players of the Year: Taffe (1999), Dan Welch (1999), Paul Martin (2000), Lundin (2003) and Jake Gardiner (2008).
