High Winds Plague Southwest

High winds will plague the Southwest into Wednesday. The strongest windswill persist into Tuesday evening through the Central Valley of California andthe high deserts. During this time frame, gusts past 70 mph will occur,especially over the ridges. In addition to blowing dust and debris and minorstructural damage, the strong winds will produce dangerous conditions forhigh-profile vehicles.It will remain windy through the Southwest later Tuesday night andWednesday, but wind speeds won't be quite as high as they are right now.
