HIBBING, Minn. — A 55-year-old Hibbing man has died after falling from the roof of a deer stand in northeastern Minnesota.
The St. Louis County sheriff's office says the man had been working on the roof of the permanent hunting structure when he fell Thursday.
First responders and Life Link air medical staff tried to save him, but he died at the scene.
His name was not immediately released.
