It seems to have been a minor deal in the first place, but this is just odd:

Did they ask? If she was alone, I'd say they had a good case. But the original report said she got cited because it was her car, not because anyone saw her driving it. Could have been anyone! I mean, really, we'll never know.

Curious to know where the car keys were located when the police came by, though. But that wouldn't prove anything - whoever took the car would be clever enough to put the keys in her purse. I've seen enough movies to smell a frame when I see one.
