Heat Wave Nearing Its End

Right on cue, hot weather spread over the Northeast and mid-Atlantic regionover the weekend. It took the right set of circumstances to bring the hot airthis far north so early in the season. The prime mover was the jet stream whichshifted way up into eastern Canada.You know it won't last forever, so the obvious question becomes when will itend? Our timetable has a cold front getting into northern New England, upstateNew York and northern Ohio Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday that front willextend from Delaware to Kentucky with all points north of that line noticingsignificantly lower temperatures.
