Areas from Kansas through Texas have been baking in extreme heat this pastmonth and there are really no changes. This extreme heat expanded into the Eastlate last week before backing off today. However, it is set to expand east onceagain.The second round of heat will not be as harsh, though. Nonetheless, mid andupper 90s are set to return to parts of the Northeast and mid-Atlantic latethis week. People should exercise caution outdoors as the heat slowly creepsback east.
