Heat Breaks with a Bang!

Powerful thunderstorms will bring destructive winds and large hail from theMidwest to the central Appalachians into Wednesday night. Unfortunately, thesetup is also ripe for tornadoes.Thursday, the thunderstorms will re-fire from the mid-Atlantic region into NewEngland. These two could be quite destructive in some communities.

The cool front triggering the severe weather is being followed by a nice,refreshing air mass. The cooler, less humid weather will reach the Great Lakesand Midwest Thursday and will bring much more comfortable conditions to theNortheast on Friday.
