Heartbreak links Vikings and Packers fans

If it's true that misery loves company, Vikings fans and Packers fans should get together this offseason and compare notes.

The Purple are no strangers to heartbreak, but the Packers are catching up; backers on both sides of the border might, in fact, be kindred spirits.

The NFC title game has gone into overtime just five times. All of them have been in the past 17 years. And in four of them — two for each team after Sunday's absolute stunner in Seattle — the Vikings and Packers have lost.

PICKING UP STEAM Andrew Wiggins is gaining national attention from various outlets and will easily win Rookie of the Year at this rate.

OTHER SIDE On the opposite end of this summer's big trade is Kevin Love. ESPN.com suggested the Cavaliers try to trade him. Seriously.
