Health care law: What's next

June: The Supreme Court will issue a ruling at any time, but a decision is likely to come in late June.

It must decide:

• Whether 1867 Anti-Injunction Act applies. If it does, judges can't rule on challenges to federal taxes until the levies are assessed in 2015.

• If enacting a provision requiring that Americans either get insurance or pay a penalty is constitutional.

• What happens to the rest of the law if the insurance requirement is found unconstitutional.

• If the expansion of the Medicaid program is unconstitutionally coercive for the states.
