A head-on car crash killed a 53-year-old Hancock man on Hwy. 9 just north of Morris Sunday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The man was riding in a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 17-year-old female. A 16-year-old male was also with them. Both teens sustained noncritical injuries and were taken to Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris.
At 4:40 p.m., the Silverado collided with a 1997 Dodge Ram driven by a 53-year-old Morris man. His condition wasn't documented.
No one involved had alcohol detected in their system, according to the State Patrol.
The State Patrol will release more information, including the names of those involved, Monday at 10:30 a.m.
