Hastings police are asking the public for help in solving the June 22 shooting death of Jason C. Reuter.

Reuter, 34, was found shortly before 10 p.m. June 22 in the front yard of the single-family house in the 1200 block of Eddy Street, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner's office. Reuter's death "is believed to be an isolated incident," police said then.

Crime Stoppers of Minnesota is offering a reward of up to a $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of whoever is responsible.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-222-8477 or Hastings police at 651-480-2300. People can leave anonymous tips by texting the word "Hastings" and any information to 847411 (TIP411).
