Harvin returns to practice

Wide receiver missed one day because of hip injury

Wide receiver Percy Harvin returned to practice Friday after missing one day because of a bruised hip. Harvin was on the field the first few minutes that the media was allowed to watch.

The Vikings had no players absent for the start of Friday's light workout. The team will release its final injury report later this afternoon that has designations.

Harvin is expected to play, but it will be interesting to see how the team lists cornerbacks Cedric Griffin and Chris Cook. Griffin was listed as questionable last week while Cook was ruled out.

Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier said both players made progress this week as they recover from knee injuries.

"They both are improving and heading in the right direction," Frazier said. "They are not that far away from getting on the field. We will get a chance to watch them again [Friday] and hopefully they both will have good practices and give us an opportunity to make a decision to get one of them up or both of them up."

If neither is available, the Vikings will enter Sunday's game against Miami with only three healthy corners again.
