Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin is absent for a second consecutive day of practice because of another episode of migraine headaches. Harvin has dealt with migraines since he was 10 years old and has had issues on and off this season with them.
He missed the Vikings' victory over Cincinnati on Dec. 13 because of migraines but that is the only game he hasn't played in this season. Harvin has missed multiple practices with the headaches but returned to play. We'll get a projection on Harvin's availability for Sunday's NFC title game later this afternoon and it wouldn't be surprising to see him listed as questionable.
While Harvin remains out, defensive tackle Kevin Williams (knee) and defensive end Ray Edwards (knee) were back on the field for the first time this week after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. Edwards had a brace on his right knee after suffering a sprain last Sunday in a playoff victory over the Dallas Cowboys. There is a report that Williams has a bone bruise on his left knee and is expected to play against the Saints.
