Harvin remains out

The wide receiver is still being bothered by migraines and is not practicing today.

Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin will miss a second consecutive day of practice because of continuing issues with migraine headaches. Harvin was limited on Wednesday and did not practice Thursday.

Harvin has missed significant practice time before because of migraines and returned to play so he certainly can't be ruled out for Sunday's game against Buffalo.

Meanwhile, running back Adrian Peterson appeared as if he would test his sprained ankle. However, media was only allowed to watch stretching and a brief portion of field-goal work so it's not clear how much Peterson actually will do. Defensive end Ray Edwards (sprained right ankle) also was on the field for stretching.

Sidney Rice (hip) also looked as if he would do some work after missing Thursday's practice.

Although things could change, it looked as if wide receiver Greg Lewis (concussion), cornerback Chris Cook (knees); and guard Steve Hutchinson (broken thumb) would sit out today.
