NEW ORLEANS -- As reported on the Star Tribune website earlier Saturday, rookie wide receiver Percy Harvin made the trip with the Vikings to New Orleans. Harvin was listed as questionable for Sunday's NFC title game and will remain listed that way, according to a team spokesman.

However, it's definitely a positive step that Harvin was able to get on the plane and make the trip because there did appear to some concern Friday that that could be an issue.

By the way, Chip and I just arrived at our hotel in New Orleans and the atmosphere is electric. Flew down on a plane with many Vikings fans and one of the pilots was wearing a Vikings hat. With the late kickoff on Sunday, there is little doubt that Vikings fans spending time here are prepared to have plenty of fun on the eve before the team's first championship game since the 2000 season.
