CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Vikings rookie receiver Percy Harvin will play tonight against the Carolina Panthers despite a neck problem and missing most of the past two weeks dealing with severe migraines.

Harvin missed one game and nearly two weeks of practice after suffering debilitating migraines.

Harvin also told NBC's Andrea Kremer on Saturday night that an MRI this week revealed he has two bulging discs in his neck and that he will visit the Mayo Clinic with a team doctor on Tuesday.

Harvin, however, has been cleared to return tonight after returning to practice on Friday.

Wide receiver Sidney Rice (illness) will play after being listed as questionable. Rice had a large contingent of family and friends in attendance.

Defensive end Ray Edwards also is in the lineup after being listed as questionable because of a back problem.

The Vikings inactives are: Jaymar Johnson, Albert Young, Karl Paymah, Garrett Mills, J Leman, Jon Cooper and Letroy Guion. Sage Rosenfels is the third quarterback.
