Pro Bowl safety Harrison Smith is active for today's game against the Packers at Lambeau Field. Smith had missed the past two games with an ankle injury. He last suited up on Dec. 1 in the loss to the Cowboys.

Wide receiver Stefon Diggs will also play after being listed as questionable due to a hip injury. He is 126 receiving yards away from hitting 1,000.

The Vikings, of course, will be without running back Adrian Peterson, who was ruled out Friday due to knee and groin injuries after making his return to the lineup last weekend. Fullback Zach Line, right guard Brandon Fusco and rookie wide receiver Laquon Treadwell were also ruled out Friday.

Their other three scratches today were quarterback Taylor Heinicke, offensive lineman Willie Beavers and defensive end Stephen Weatherly.

Rookie running back C.J. Ham, the Duluth native who was promoted to the active roster on Friday, is active and set to make his NFL debut.

Meanwhile, the Packers will be without slot receiver Randall Cobb, center J.C. Tretter and running back James Starks against the Vikings today.

The Vikings, despite being trapped on a plane for five hours last night, were able to get to the team hotel in Appleton before 11 p.m. They were unable to conduct their night-before team meetings on the plane. But the players had a sense of humor about the ordeal. Maybe it will loosen them up a little bit as they look to bounce back from their blowout loss to the Colts six days ago.
