A family dog lost during a car crash on the Ohio Turnpike has been reunited with his Minnesota owners two weeks later.

Cyndi Evans, of the Minneapolis area, said her three children were happy to see Thor, and the 1-year-old Australian cattle dog was happy to see them Monday evening in Swanton, Ohio, 17 miles west of Toledo in northwest Ohio.

On June 22, the Evans family was in a rollover accident on the turnpike while traveling to New York. No one from the family was seriously hurt, but Thor ran off through a broken window on the vehicle.

The dog wasn't seen for several days until a volunteer from a local animal shelter spotted him in a woman's yard and picked him up.

The Evanses returned to Ohio to collect their missing family member and bring him home.
