JEREMY MESSERSMITH

Saturday: Offering a good, all-ages live music option for Halloween night that's not in the heart of the drunken downtown fray, one of Minnesota's most reputable singers/songwriters will perform his cemeteries-inspired 2010 album "The Reluctant Graveyard" in its entirety for fans' ghoulish delight. The record — which ranked No. 1 in our Twin Cities Critics Tally that year — has some macabre undertones but is otherwise loaded with fun, "Revolver"-style guitar pop and swooning love songs. Messersmith is inviting along musical friends such as Chris Koza and Aby Wolf and throwing in some other material appropriate to the holiday. And one extra treat: The secretive project Stalkerazzi will make its live debut for the opening set. (8 p.m. Sat. All ages, $25. Cedar Cultural Center, 416 Cedar Av. S., Mpls. 612-338-2674, thecedar.org.)
