They've all attended Minneapolis high schools past and present. I wrote a Dateline Minneapolis column this fall, asking for suggestions on influential, famous or otherwise noteworthy graduates.

Several readers submitted suggestions. Take a look at what people had to say. If you're wondering about the blacked out portions, I redacted addresses, email and actual, and phone numbers from the submissions.

For the record, there are no plans afoot to develop such a hall of fame. I just wanted to take a lighthearted look at post-high school fame in response to my colleague Paul Levy's story on the first Anoka High School Hall of Fame. The school's two most famous alums -- Garrison Keillor and U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann -- weren't on the list. Keillor, an author and radio personality, declined the honor; organizers overlooked Bachmann, a 1974 graduate and current presidential candidate.

If you're interested in letting us know about a Minneapolis high school alum or two, please drop a note in the blog comments.
