The Good: The Vikings defense produced two turnovers during the first half. The first occurred 12 seconds into the game when linebacker Gerald Hodges intercepted Jets quarterback Geno Smith's pass on the first play from scrimmage and returned it 27 yards for a touchdown.
In the second, running back Chris Ivory fumbled inside the Vikings' 5. It was recovered by cornerback Captain Munnerlyn, saving the Vikings from a possible scoring drive.
The Bad: Wide receiver Percy Harvin is having another "revenge" game against his former team. He has three catches for 97 yards and a touchdown on five targets. Harvin scored on a 35-yard touchdown in the first quarter, leaping over cornerback Josh Robinson on the coverage.
Harvin had a 47-yard kickoff return that set up a Jets field goal in the first quarter. He also has two carries for three yards.
The Ugly: The Vikings first offensive drive ended in points, just for the other team. The Jets scored their first two points on a safety when defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson sacked rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater in the end zone.
Bridgewater was pinned deep in his own end zone following a false start by guard Joe Berger at the 11 and a two yard gain by running back Matt Asiata.
On the second play of the drive, the Jets ran a stunt involving left tackle Matt Kalil and left guard Charlie Johnson. Richardson sprung free from Kalil and rocked Bridgewater to make the play.
