Halftime: Hopkins 39, Forest Lake 18

No. 1 seed Royals use 11-0 start to build big lead

March 24, 2010 at 3:43PM

Hopkins beat Forest Lake in every facet of the game through the first three minutes. Defensively, on the boards, in transition, everything. Joe Coleman threw down two dunks. DJ Peterson harrassed every Forest Lake player who brought the ball up. It added up to an 11-0 start for the defending champion Royals.

Hopkins really never let up from there. Forest Lake crawled back into the game but has not made a meaningful run to this point.
