Priority, if elected: Control of police so we do not always bail them out with $$$. End council corruption. Have smart spending so taxes can be lower. Leave education for the educators. I will have lunch with the superintendent. I am a strong union supporter; have been a union worker my whole life. Support a good park system.

Ideas for jobs/population growth: Tax incentives and better transportation.

Ideas to reduce crime: Put criminals in jail and have more patrols in high-crime areas.

Ideas to lower property taxes: Smart spending will lower taxes.

Did you support or oppose the Minnesota Vikings stadium package approved by the city in May 2012? The stadium is not smart spending.

Should the city build a $200 million streetcar line along Nicollet and Central Avenues? No.

Should the mayor be allowed to appoint some school board members? No.
