Stroke of the Heart's sale starts today

April 20, 2010 at 8:04PM

The Twin Cities is lucky to have several local greeting card design companies. Even luckier for bargain hunters, a couple of them have warehouse sales.

Stroke of the Heart at 3792 Williston Rd. in Minnetonka starts its semi-annual sale today, April 20. Greeting cards are just a quarter each in simple cards with watercolor designs. Not pads and magnets are $1.50 and boxed note cards for $4. Sale items can be overstocks and discontinued styles.

Designs are restocked daily. Most of the designs and wording inside are cute and spare. Looking for snark and attitude? Not at this sale.

Sale dates and hours are noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, April 20-22, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
