The Metro Green Line is closed in St. Paul this evening and into Monday morning "to allow for construction," according to Metro Transit.

Buses will replace the light-rail trains between Snelling Avenue and the downtown Union Depot station from 6 p.m. Sunday until 3 a.m. Monday.

The buses will operate on a similar schedule as the trains, but could take more time.

Metro Transit has maps for more information regarding the replacement bus-boarding locations at its website: www.metrotransit.org/construction.
