Saturday will be spectacular weather-wise across the Southeast as a large dome of high pressure sits over the region.

Afternoon temperatures throughout much of the region will climb well into the 70s, with sunshine and low humidity.

Farther to the north, warm, dry winds coming down off the Appalachians will boost temperatures into the lower 80s from northern North Carolina through parts of Maryland.
