We could not have asked for a nicer opener. The fishing reports were fairly spotty from very good to working hard for them. A nice limit of walleyes was reported at 4:30 am on Sat morning. Check anywhere from 14' to 24'. The crappies are headed up with reports from the Crow Wings, Big Man and Potato. Northerns were the leaders during opener with many successes reported.
