A single-vehicle crash early Wednesday claimed the life of a Granite Falls woman, the State Patrol said.
The 48-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, was driving south on Hwy. 67 at milepost 35 in Minnesota Falls Township in Yellow Medicine County when she ran off the road and struck an embankment and a tree, the patrol said.
She was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
The road was dry when the crash occurred about 12:35 a.m., the patrol said.
