Timothy Alan Lee was driving a 2001 Hyundai Elantra west on Hwy. 34 near County Road 29 in Erie Township when his car crossed the centerline just before 3 p.m. and sideswiped an eastbound 2016 Chevy Silverado. The Hyundai then hit a 2016 Volvo XC90 head-on.

The Volvo driver, Kathryn M. Mulcahy, 32, of St. Louis Park, suffered noncritical injuries. The Silverado driver, Arlene Warling, 68, of Lake Park, was not injured. Mulcahy and Warling both were wearing seatbelts. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, the patrol said.
