Got wood duck house kits?

March 20, 2010 at 10:10PM

It's not too late to put up wood duck houses to help provide safe nesting spots this spring for what some observers argue is the state's prettiest winged fowl.

The Minnesota Waterfowl Association (mnwaterfowl.com, phone 952-767-0320) has pre-cut wood duck box kits available that can be assembled in short order. Hardware and directions are included. Price is $31.95 plus shipping.

The kits can also be picked up at MWA's office in Hopkins. Call ahead to place an order.
