GOPHERS women DRAW UMD
As the No. 1 seed, the top-ranked Gophers women's hockey team had a bye for this weekend's WCHA tournament quarterfinals. It will return to action next weekend in the Final Faceoff at Ridder Arena. The Gophers will play Minnesota Duluth in the semifinals at 2:07 p.m. Saturday, and with a victory would advance to Sunday's championship. Ohio State and Wisconsin will play in the other semifinal at 5:07 p.m. Saturday.
