Gophers release women's basketball schedule

Big Ten slate opens with two road games.

The Gophers have released their women's basketball schedule for the coming season, and will open the Big Ten portion with games at Michigan State (Jan. 3) and Wisconsin (Jan. 6).

The Big Ten home opener is Jan. 10 against Ohio State.

The Gophers have three tournaments before the Big Ten season starts, including one in the college hoops hotbed of Cancun.

Minnesota's Big Ten/ACC Challenge game is against Virginia on Nov. 29 at Williams Arena. The Gophers' only non-conference road game is at Kansas on Dec. 2.
