Boston College, the defending NCAA champion, is securely at No. 1 in this week's USCHO.com and USA Today national hockey polls. The Eagles received all 50 first-place votes in the USCHO.com poll and all 34 possible in the other poll, too.

The little change there is, is behind them. Denver, after sweeping Minnesota State Mankato on the road, jumps ahead of the Gophers this week. DU is No. 2, the Gophers No. 3.

The U went up to Alaska Anchorage and came back with three points. Minnesota won 4-0 on Friday, tied the Seawolvea 2-2 on Saturday.

Other WCHA teams in the USCHO.com top 20 are North Dakota at No. 6, Colorado College at No. 14, St. Cloud State at No. 15 and Nebraska Omaha at No. 18.

The poll is here.

In the USA Today poll, North Dakota is No. 5, while CC and St. Cloud State are in the same spots, No. 14 and 15, in both.
