The college football season is fast approaching. Here are upcoming highlights for the Gophers:
Aug. 8, 3:55 p.m.: Jerry Kill leads the Gophers through their first fall practice at the Gibson-Nagurski complex. It's open to the public.
Aug. 20, 9:40 a.m.: The team scrimmages at TCF Bank Stadium, also open to the public.
Sept. 1: Final fall practice.
Sept. 3, 2:30 p.m.: Nonconference opener at USC.
Sept. 10, 2:30 p.m.: Home opener against New Mexico State.
Oct. 1, TBA: Big Ten opener at Michigan.
Oct. 22, 2:30 p.m.: Big Ten home opener against league newcomer Nebraska.
