Another day, another distraction. With the vice presidential debate one day away, the news that the moderator, Gwen Ifill, has a supposedly pro-Obama book in the works is creating an uproar. In the editorial board meeting this morning we talked about the possible results: Might Ifill be tempted to go more easily on Sarah Palin? Could the development prompt the McCain campaign to ask for a postponement and a new moderator? What do you think?
