Golden Globe nominations announced for best TV drama series

BEVERLY HILLS, California. — The Golden Globe nominations for best television drama series have been announced in Beverly Hills, California, by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

The nominees announced Thursday morning are: "The Affair," "Downton Abbey," "Game of Thrones," "The Good Wife" and "House of Cards."

The 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards will be presented Jan. 11 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler and airing live on NBC.
