Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski doffed their tops, painting the fleshy twofer as a statement on feminism — though Piers Morgan, for one, wasn't buying that explanation.

Model Naomi Campbell posted a topless photo of herself on Instagram last year, aligning herself with the #FreeTheNipple movement.

Scout Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, traipsed topless through Brooklyn to protest Instagram's censoring policy. "What I am arguing for is a woman's right to choose how she represents her body," Willis declared.

Halle Berry joined Instagram in the splashiest possible way in March, posting a topless photo of herself in her first message. Berry said that she intended to "reflect my emotions and perceptions" with her Instagram posts.

In 2014, Chelsea Handler joined the topless-equality brigade on social media, doffing her top for a picture and asking, "If a man posts a photo of his nipples, it's ok, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?"

In order to make Katherine Heigl feel more comfortable while filming a sex scene for "State of Affairs," series co-star Mark Tallman, creator Joe Carnahan and others disrobed along with her to show their solidarity. Heigl shared the moment of fleshy support on Instagram.
