GEAR ALERT!
Recently in this space, I suggested the advantages of spring-loaded Knipex hook cutters, capable of cutting even muskie-lure hooks while held only in one hand. But I didn't note where the cutters I recommended could be purchased. Thorne Brothers in the metro has them (thornebros.com), also Rollie and Helen's at muskyshop.com is a dealer. The cutters can be a lifesaver.
