Jigging spoons

Jigging spoons are effective for walleyes and bass, but they are little used by many anglers. Particularly effective for suspended fish, they also can be fished on the bottom. For bass, a trailer (a piece plastic worm or similar bait) can be attached to the spoon's treble hook, while for walleyes a minnow head works well. Jigging spoons can be fished vertically for suspended fish, cast and retrieved with a jigging motion, jigged conventionally or fished "dead'' on the bottom, with intermittent twitches. The baits also drop well through milfoil.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
