Garcon signing with Redskins

One of the best young receivers off the market for the Vikings.

Via Facebook, the Vikings have discovered that possibly the best young (under 28) receiver on the market is now off the market.

Former Colts receiver Pierre Garcon, 25, wrote:"I wanted you all to hear it from me 1st before u saw it on the news," Garcon wrote. "I will be signing with the Washington Redskins and I'm very excited about the opportunity in front of me. I want to thank all Colts fans from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you've shown me the past 4 years and I hope that at some level u will still follow my career, as I will continue to share my life with you on here."

The Vikings aren't expected to be in the hunt for Vincent Jackson. Jackson is 29, wants about $12 million a year (or more) and, oh yeah, he probably doesn't want to live in Minnesota and play for a team coming off a 3-13 season.

Two other receivers to keep an eye on: Dallas' Laurent Robinson and Atlanta's Harry Douglas.
