A woman's body was found late Monday morning near an office building in Fridley, authorities said.

The discovery was made about 10:30 a.m. near a dumpster on the 900 block of Hillwind Road NE., according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.

In a news release, Sheriff's Cmdr. Paul Sommer said that there were no obvious signs of injury and that the county medical examiner's office would issue a cause of death after its own investigation.

The driver of a garbage truck found the body on the ground inside an area containing dumpsters, Sommer said.

Hillwind runs along westbound Interstate 694 and curves north along Central Avenue.

There was no immediate word on the person's identity or the circumstances leading up to the death.
