All men must die?

Stand down, geek legions, your overlord still walks this Earth. When news broke Tuesday that legendary Beatles producer George Martin died, the "Game of Thrones" hordes mistook him for beloved author George RR Martin. Fans tweeted their dismay, crying like a second #RedWedding had just happened. Sample tweet (from a coldblooded GoT fan): "Is it really bad that I'm relieved it's George Martin that's dead, and not George RR Martin?"

Martin himself commented on his LiveJournal, saying " … I have to go with Mark Twain and insist that the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated."

Yes, valar morghulis. But not this George.
